Located about and hour away from the city of Auckland, Kimbay is a small town....you could say that it brings a touch of country to the city. Many people come to Kimbay to get away from the busy city for a while.
You could say that Kimbay is a place where horses can be found everywhere. The people of Kimbay are very friendly and not much trouble is caused out here but that don't mean there ain't any trouble in Kimbay.
About five minutes out from the little city center of Kimbay you will come across a small house and stable with anout 500 acres of land surounding it. It is the only Thoroughbred stud/training center found in the area. It is owned by David Frost, Samantha's father who is one of the top Thoroughbred breeders and trainers in the area. He is well known around town and you can always tell if there is a race going on or horse sale for he is often seen driving a big horse turck out of Kimbay and into Auckland city to race or to sell of his yearlings.
Kimbay is also known for its top eqine shows in the area and when a show is on everyone flocks to watch/enter the show. The horses that enter are some of the best that you will find in the country...
Besides being known as horse territory Kimbay also has loads of places to hang out with friends and even special places to go with that someone special...and don't forget about the fact that it is only an hour away from Auckland city where you can find all the best clubs.
